Email sign-up privacy notice
Last updated: 1 November 2026
Whitley Pavilion is responsible for the email sign-up list on this website. Contact us at hello@whitleypavilion.co.uk or at 11 Spanish City Plaza, Whitley Bay, NE26 1BG.
What we collect and why
We collect your email address, the time you subscribe, and a record of the consent wording you agreed to. We use these to maintain our mailing list and send you Whitley Pavilion updates and offers. Our lawful basis for this is your consent. Signing up is optional.
Storage and access
The list is held in a private database through our website hosting service, OpenAI Sites and its Cloudflare infrastructure. It is not displayed on the public website. Authorised people working for Whitley Pavilion and service providers supporting the hosting may access it where necessary. We do not sell your email address or share it with other businesses for their own marketing.
Our hosting providers may process data internationally. Where required, applicable data protection safeguards must be in place. We will update this notice if we connect a separate email delivery service.
Retention and unsubscribe
We retain your subscription while you want to hear from us. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@whitleypavilion.co.uk. Marketing emails will include an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing through that link removes your entry from this website's subscriber list.
Protecting the form
To limit automated abuse, we temporarily keep an hour-specific hash of the connection's IP address and a request count. Requests are rate limited by hour; these records expire after 24 hours and are removed on subsequent form requests. Our hosting providers also process connection and security information when you use the website. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this page.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict its use, or receive a copy in a portable format. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it. Contact the email address above to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
